Malawi - YOURS National Champion for Road Safety

Mc Carthyin Jailosi Samalani is a 27 year old young man from Malawi, he holds Diploma in Public Health which he obtained from Skyway University. He has over seven years of experience working directly with communities focusing on Youth Development, Road safety and Child protection.

Mc Carthy is also a founder of two vibrant local organizations namely: Bondo Youth Organisation and Youth for Health and Development. As a youth practitioner he is always happy to advocate, raise awareness, conduct interface meeting aiming at uplifting the lives of the youth and children to enable them to be catalysts of positive change and sustainable development.

He participated several international and national trainings which include: International Youth Leadership training in Gaborone, Botswana, Youth Advocacy training in Cape Town, South Africa and Road safety training in Malawi among others.

Mc Carthy`s passion and commitment to serve the youth and children has enabled him to be offered the role of Champion for youth and Road safety representing Malawi at Youth Road Safety (YOURS) Anglophone Africa.
