Gambia - YOURS National Champion for Road Safety

I am a Gambian by birth age 26th years old. I’m the 4th born in a family of six children.I’m a native Fula speaker, fluent in English and two other Gambian local languages. I am passionate about sustainable development, youths work, media and communication, etc.
I went through Gambia Senior Secondary School where I completed my three year academic course of studies in the Arts department in 2010. I later enrolled to Baha’i National Training Institute for higher education before making my way to Gambia’s premier privately own radio station west coast radio on voluntary basis.

I have been part of “Young Journalist Association Gambia” “Global Hands Organization Gambia” and the “Young Volunteers for Environment Gambia”

I am always criticize by some of my friends, my family members and even my mum for spending so much of my time working as an unpaid staff. Some of my friends are even going further by calling me a mad man, but despite of all caution and unpleasant words am facing, I will never gave up.

Before I sign out, I would like to take this opportunity to advice all youth inclusive myself not to have negative attitude of what they are doing but follow their dreams and do what they think best suited their rights and the right of other people.
