MAJOR PROJECTS undertaken 1. FIRST AID TRAININGS: Collaboration with RLSS (I), New Delhi International partner of Royal Life Saving Society (C), London and Member of International Life Saving Federation (ILS), London. • Encourage the young to learn First aid, Swimming and Lifesaving. • Teach them first aid procedures and life saving drills. • Introduce schemes to encourage them to qualify as first aiders, lifesavers and lifeguards. • Provide "First Aid" and prevent loss of life on land and waterfronts. • Recognize and reward good work done in first aid and life saving. • Collect and collate information on drowning accidents and rescue affected. • Investigate and analyze accidents to develop more effective rescue methods. Imparted BASIC LIFE SAVING courses throughout the state to the students, workers at site, drivers, conductors, cleaners, traffic police personnel, RTO, DTOs, other transport inspectors, learning license seekers, Scouts, NCC cadets etc. at the behest of Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways (MORT), Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC), Jaipur Traffic Police, Rajasthan Urban Infrastructure Development Project (RUIDP) and other agencies.

PAPPU ZEBRA ROAD SENSE CAMPAIGN IN RAJASTHAN: PARTNER OF ORGPEOPLE, KERALA: "As we stand on the threshold of the worldwide United Nations’ Decade of Action for Road Safety, Pappu Zebra welcomes associations with individuals and organisations active in the universal cause of road safety!" 3. INFORMATION EDUCATION & COMMUNICATION (IEC)
ACTIVITIES:
1. Exhibition on Road Accidents and its reasons has been organized at Birla Auditorium during Road Safety Week 2010 where eminent people from various organisations including Hon’ble State Transport Minister Sh. BrijKishore Ji Sharma visited the gallery and appreciated a lot. 2. Working on an ambitious project called SADAK KRANTI ABHIYAAN (Road Revolution Campaign). Conducted six door to door campaigns at various places during Road Safety Week-2009 in Jaipur. 3. Organized various free eye check up camps for general public, government officials, drivers, police, students etc during January 2010 to October 2010. More than 5000 people benefited from these camps. 4. Conducted Signature Campaign on Road Safety with the support of Neurotrauma Society, India from March 2009 to July 2009 at various places of Jaipur and nearby to make people aware about head injuries during road accidents. About 50,000 people had signed and took oath to follow road safety rules including various dignitaries of the state. 5. Organized a media workshop on the “Role of Media on Road Safety” at Laxmi Vilas Hotel on 15th March 2009 where various renowned dignotaries from various media agencies along with Director, Department of Information and Public Relations, Govt. of Rajasthan, SP Traffic, Jaipur participated in the workshop.
