Our mission is to put christian principles into programs that build strong youths,strong families and strong communities spiritually,physically and intellectually. Our vision is to empower young people African renaissance. To contribute to reduction of poverty among young people in Zambia. Target: youths aged 15-30 Activities: Prevention of alcohol and substance abuse Awareness and education on road injury reduction (new) HIV/AIDS prevention Youth Employability
YMCA Youth Voice on Road Safety-This is based on
i) Creating awareness among youths, families and friends about the size of the road traffic injury problem and factors which place people especially young people at risk.
ii) Promoting road safety and adopting most effective channels to make messages heard.
iii) Collaborating with the schools in Kabwe and ensure that schools use safe school buses for students and organize regular road safety activities at schools.
iv) Collaborating with schools and creating opportunities for students to engage in road safety.
