Tune into Traffic

Tune into Traffic is a national campaign promoting road safety to young people (aged 11-25). It was born after the World Youth Assembly for Road Safety 2007 and was launched with the support of Channel 4's Battlefront Project.Tune into Traffic's message is clear, that young people must take responsibility upon themselves to ensure that they and their friends are safe on the road. It promotes safer behaviour and aims to change mentalities of young people on the road by creating ambassadors for road safety.

Thiago de Moraes Gonzaga Foundation - Vida Urgente

Vida Urgente is part of the Thiago de Moraes Conzaga Foundation and means literally: Urgent Life. We celebrate life and our mission is to promote life valuation and its preservation. We do so by mobilizing society through educative and cultural actions. Because we are an institution in changing behavior, our vision is to ensure the recovery and preservation of life in traffic and building a new culture.

TeamAlert

TeamAlert is a youth-led NGO for road safety based in The Netherlands. TeamAlert started on initiative of the Dutch Minister of Transport in 2000. An important motive for this was that young people are highly at risk in traffic and, moreover, hardly aware of their vulnerability.

An NGO based in Hyderabad, India set up to create awereness of road safety and change attitudes of the youth on the roads. SOCH is an initiative to alter the mindset, attitude and behaviour of the people and educate the younger generation on following traffic regulations and being safe on the roads.

The Regional Niagara Road Safety Committee formed in 2003 following a community meeting to discuss the increase in the number of serious and fatal motor vehicle collisions happening on Niagara roads.

The RACQ (Royal Automobile Club of Queensland) is the peak motoring organisation in Queensland, Australia. The club provides a wide range of motoring, travel and other services, including the provision of road safety education to school students via the Road Safety Education Team.

OSAID ~ Ontario Students Against Impaired Driving

OSAID is an independent registered Canadian charity which reaches more than 300,000 students annually. OSAID has graduated over 20,000 youth leaders who are now living, working, and driving in every community throughout Ontario. OSAID presently manages over 5000 volunteers annually utilizing 200,000 volunteer hours toward reducing driver-risk and injury in the province of Ontario. This makes OSAID the largest teen volunteer program, focused on risk reduction, in the province.

Drive up Safety

DUS! Drive up Safety - Road Safety organisation for young people is a group of young people that promote road safety. Our main goal is to motivate a maximum number of young road users - pedestrians, bicyclists and drivers - to adopt safe behaviour in traffic. This is done using all kinds of positive, interactive and above all entertaining actions on awareness raising among our target audience. DUS! has two full-time employees and has a group of 100 motivated volunteers.
