Q: Can I shoot the video on every road?
A: No, remember safety first! It must be a very quiet road, with no traffic and with a pedestrian crossing.
Q: How many people do I need to shoot the video?
A: at least 3: one young person for in the video, one person to shoot the video and one or two persons who are watching the trafficlights and possible upcoming traffic while you are shooting the video.
Q: How long should the video be?
A: Around 10 seconds.
Q: How long does it take to participate?
A: You can do it in less than one hour.
Q: Can I only send one video?
A: No, you can send in as many videos as you want, but use different people every time (and other slogans if you want).
Q: What are the criteria of the participant in the video?
A: There is only one criteria, it should be a young person in the video, remember it is a global youth movement we want to visualize. Let´s say between the age of 14 and 30 years old. You can also try to should the video with multiple young people.
Q: How can I win the 1000 EURO?
A: To send in your video before the first of August 2010 and cross the street on a safe and creative way (with the theme Visibility in the back of your mind). The jury of YOURS will pick the most creative one and announce the pricewinner after the deadline.
Q: Till when can I participate in the World Crossing Campaign?
A: Your video will compete for the 1000 EURO if it has been received by YOURS before the first of August 2010. But you can keep sending in videos after that date, although you will not compete for the price. We will announce the ending date of our World Crossing Campaign on our website.
Q: Can I spend the 1000 EURO on whatever I want?
A: No, you will have to spend the 1000 EURO on a road safety campaign. Before YOURS will transfer the money, we would like to see a small projectplan where you will spend the money on.
Q: I tried to send the video per email, but it bounced back. What should I do?
A: Please go to www.transferbigfiles.com and use the info@youthforroadsafety.org email address. Don´t forget to send your your contactdetails per email.
